Having A Debate

We watched footage of debates taking place in parliament, via the internet, then had a class debate. We set up the classroom with opposing sides and split the class into 2. We had a chairperson and each side had to elect a proposer and opposer to start the debate. We used our notes to help us present a balanced argument during our debate.
