Designing and making computer games

As part of our Cool Stuff topic we decided that computer games were pretty cool.
After reviewing a range of games evaluating their purpose, ease to play and their aesthetics we thought about designing some simple games of our own to help children in Year 1 with their learning.
Bath Base carried out surveys with Year 1 finding out about whatthe children liked and were learning about to make sure their product design suited the intended market.
After that we developed skills in linking pages within a slide show to make our games.
Here are the photos of testing out the finished games with Year 1.  We think Year 1 enjoyed them and we met our design brief well!
